Our objective is to get 500 solar lamps that allow mothers, children and girls in the ten villages of Guinea Bissau in which we work to study at nightfall. Battery-powered lanterns are currently used, but they cause serious pollution problems in villages, farming areas and in water. It is estimated that a common battery contaminates more than 3,000 liters of water. Solar lamps are a sustainable alternative and allow families to have light for 8 hours.

Somos un grupo de voluntarias que nos encargamos de la gestión de colonias felinas comunitarias en Logroño. Los gatos de la calle necesitaban una solución y, mientras luchamos para que el Ayuntamiento reaccione, nos encargamos nosotras de esterilizar a los gatos y mantener un orden en las colonias. Necesitamos la aportación del mayor número posible de personas para poder hacer nuestra labor.
