A month ago Shakespeare a beautiful 22 year old chestnut gelding was found left for dead in a field. He had been ignored and left without food for 3 months. When I saw him my heart broke, all I could see were bones and open wounds and a deep sadness in his eyes. I couldn’t leave him, I had to find a way. Financially he costs a fortune and as a single mum with another horse to feed (also rescued), I’m really seeking help from horse lovers to give him a retirement he deserves.
