Streetdogs Benares

Streetdogsbenares es un proyecto sin ánimo de lucro en Benarés (India). Alimentamos y esterilizamos a perros callejeros abandonados y enfermos. Desde hace años, Debahuti y su equipo cuidan de ellos día a día en las calles de la ciudad. Nuestro objetivo es construir un refugio propio para poder acogerlos de forma permanente.

On the streets of Benares (Varanasi), one of India's holiest cities, hundreds of street dogs survive without enough food or veterinary care. Many are sick, injured or abandoned. For years, Debahuti has cared for them with unconditional love: feeding them every day, taking them to the vet when needed, and fighting — often alone — to give them a dignified life. With your donation we want to fund daily feeding and neutering campaigns, to reduce their suffering and control the dog population in a humane way — without confining them, without killing them. Further ahead, we want to build a permanent shelter where they can live safely. Every euro counts.
