Der Verein Protect Animals With Us – PAWU e.V. unterstützt in der Ukraine verschiedene Tierheime, Tierschützer, das Katzenheim Kiew in der Tierklinik, sowie Tierheime im Kriegsgebiet / Ostukraine. HoPE (Homeless Paws Endeavour e.V.) was founded in 2016 and is dedicated in particular to animal welfare abroad in Romania. We currently have around 100 dogs in our care. This incurs monthly fixed costs of over €4,000. Every single euro helps us to care for them.

Bigdogsrescue - Times change . . . and goals have to be adapted to the needs, because it's not about us, it's about Romania's dogs! Our primary goal is to rescue and care for large street dogs, if possible, before they are "disposed of" and brought into the kill. We're trying to help those who don't have a lobby! As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed.
