Project we support

Youth Camp – Empowering Independent Living

International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus

Through its member associations, IF supports initiatives such as Youth Camps, where children and teens with Spina Bifida develop independence in a fun, supportive environment. Participants set personal goals — from daily hygiene and wheelchair skills to self-care and confidence — and practise them with guidance from volunteers, including those with lived experience. Activities such as games, quizzes, swimming, and skill challenges make learning enjoyable while fostering confidence and friendship. Your donations help support these life-changing initiatives, contributing to volunteer engagement, equipment, and accessible activities — giving children the tools to thrive and families peace of mind.
