We are a non-profit NGO funded by donations. We focus on rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing sanctuary for birds. We handle around 2,000 inquiries and release an average of 250 birds annually. Many come from seizures, trafficking, abuse, and abandonment, and we give them a second chance. Todo lo recaudado desde este grupo va a ir destinatario a todos los gastos veterinarios de la asociación Birds Friends, ya sean urgencias, intervenciones, tratamientos, analíticas, etc... En Birds Friends tenemos varios gastos, veterinario, manutención, instalaciones, gestoría, abogado, etc... Pero sin lugar a dudas los gastos veterinarios son de los más grandes que tenemos a día de hoy y es lo que más nos cuesta, ya que no tenemos ningún tipo de ingreso fijo. Gracias por vuestra ayuda.

We need to mantain basic food for all animals that live permanently in our animal sanctuary. They are pigeons, quails, partige, chickens, tortoises, cats and dog...and who knows...Only for birds thats means 950e, and just two of them are adopted, the rest have no external, private o public help. So, help us if you feel so. For pigeons the came from 50% shooting and 50% feral in distress.

Thanks to your support, more than 300 residents: horses, donkeys, cows, bulls, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry were saved from a certain death. ApusLibera se creó para ayudar a todas esas aves urbanas que necesitan de nosotros para sobrevivir y tener una segunda oportunidad. En concreto rescatamos, rehabilitamos y liberamos todo tipo de aves urbanas silvestres (Vencejos, aviones, golondrinas, verderones, gorriones, palomas, torcaces, etc). Todo ello conlleva mucho tiempo por nuestra parte y también dinero para alimento, vitaminas, utensilios necesarios, veterinarios, medicamentos, etc. ¡Con 1€ al mes nos ayudas mucho! Gracias.

Cuando comenzamos hace tan solo unos meses, ¡nunca pensamos que terminaríamos ayudando a tantos animales! Primero comenzamos a rescatar palomas y otros pájaros, acto siguiente acogimos ratas, gaviotas, conejos, hurones y diferentes especies de loros. Muy pronto nos hicimos conocer por "aquellos" que ayudan a los invisibles, los no deseados o los olvidados. ¡Alguien tenía que hacerlo! Esto lo queremos cambiar, para no permanecer invisibles y seguir haciendo nuestro trabajo.
