An elderly, sick, and lonely couple lives in an old shed in La Palma after the volcanic eruption. They have worked hard to fix it, but have no electricity due to high permit and installation costs. Their dream is simple: a safe and dignified home. Every contribution, no matter how small, gives them hope and comfort. Let’s not leave them alone.
We hereby inform you of a couple living in a small rural dwelling (“pajero”) on the island of La Palma, without electricity or the means to regularize their situation. Installing an electrical supply requires a certificate of habitability and an additional technical project, with an estimated cost of €20,000, which they cannot afford. Following the volcanic eruption, many families have been left with very limited housing options, increasing their vulnerability. From [name of the organization], we are providing temporary support by offering alternative energy sources, assistance with administrative procedures, and coordination with social services. We kindly request institutional collaboration to help achieve a stable and humane solution that ensures minimum living conditions and dignity.
