The Galgos del Sur Association is a non-profit organization located in Córdoba. We fight against the abandonment and massive sacrifice of greyhounds and hunting dogs, to raise awareness and awareness in society about this problem and give a new life looking for good families. They strive to help where and when they can; often favouring the more difficult animals that need saving. There is a page on Facebook (The Under Dog) and a group (The Under Dog Group Malaga). AXARQUIA ANIMAL RESCUE is a registered charity in Southern Spain, run by volunteers and dedicated to saving lives and re-homing abandoned and abused animals. We have rescued and rehomed nearly 5,000 animals in the past 13 years and there are so many more that need our help. Our monthly kennel and vet bills are in the region of 5,000 euros a month, often more. We receive no government funding and rely on donations to enable us to continue our work. We need your help.

We are a small non-profit shelter whose primary concern is to provide sanctuary for all dogs in our care and to find loving homes wherever possible. 2020 was a very tough year for everyone, ourselves included. We worked miracles to try to continue to help as many dogs as possible, and to eventually transport dogs to new homes during the times when travel bans were eased enough to do so. Despite dwindling finances, we are determined to keep going, but we need your help in order to stay afloat.
