We are Potes i Arrels, the animal protective association of Muro de Alcoy, a town in Alicante. We were born with the aim of preventing the stray animals of our town from ending up in a dog pound, and we succeeded! We don't have a municipal animal shelter, but that does not stop us. We work with foster homes to avoid life behind bars as much as possible. For only € 1 a month, you can contribute to giving a second chance to those who have been rejected by others. La Sociedad Protectora de Animales y Plantas de Villena (SPAPV) es una asociación creada en 1982 cuya finalidad es entre otras el cuidado, la protección y la búsqueda de hogar a los perros y gatos abandonados. Nuestra máxima es el NO sacrificio. Actualmente tenemos cerca de 300 perros y unos 70 gatos, y cada año se recogen una media de 600 perros y 200 gatos abandonados. #uneuropor #ProtectoradeVillena
