Juliana’s Animal Sanctuary was the first farmed animal sanctuary established in all of South America in 2009 and is the only one existing in Colombia, where they currently take care for 80 rescued animals. They believe that EDUCATION, STERILIZATION, and RECONNECTION are the keys to make the world a better place for all animals.

AVPD, Asociación Valencia Perrera Dogs, are a registered charity in Spain (G98900228). Our objective is to find rescue spaces and other safe and caring opportunities for the dogs saved from perreras (dog pounds) and for those found abandoned on the street.

"La Esperanza del Sur" es un refugio canino situado en el sur de Tenerife. Actualmente cuenta con más de 100 perros y no recibe ningún tipo de subvención gubernamental ni municipal, contando tan sólo con las donaciones altruistas. We are a group of volunteers who help stray dogs in Antalya (Turkey), who live in terrible conditions: they are run over or shot at for fun, chained up, maltreated, starved and hurt. We run a shelter and feeding grounds in Antalya. Dogs that are incapable of surviving on their own are brought to the shelter, given food, the medical care they need and a good home abroad.

Deze organisatie, meer dan 20 jaar geleden opgericht door een Belgische dame, is gevestigd in Mijas (Zuid-Spanje) en redt honden van dodingstations. Het heeft permanent meer dan 500 honden in zijn 2 refugio's en zoekt fijne adoptiegezinnen voor hen in België en Nederland, na een grondige screening van de kandidaten. La Fondation Benjamin Mehnert est une organisation à but non lucratif qui se consacre à la défense d'animaux de compagnie qui souffrent de mauvais traitements ou de négligence. Nous concentrons notre travail principalement sur le sauvetage, le rétablissement et le déplacement des lévriers dans les foyers familiaux, leur offrant ainsi une nouvelle opportunité comme animaux de compagnie. Bien que nous nous consacrions principalement à la récupération des lévriers, actuellement dans notre refuge vivent plus de 700 animaux....

For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). Sasha takes care of 750 unwanted dogs .. – this has never been his dream - but the dogs are there, waiting for food, waiting for help.. every day..again. The dogs are kept in packs, they run free for 8 hours per day, they eat, rest and play together. They are safe. Safe from the dangers of the street and humans. We help them with food and basic medication. We also run a sterilization program and try to improve care for the old and weaker dogs and abandoned pups.

La Asociacion Protectora de Animales y Plantas de Zafra: El Refugio de Brown es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro orientada a la preservación de los derechos de los animales y plantas, promoviendo actividades y campañas de concienciación. La asociación tiene un refugio ubicado en Zafra (Badajoz) en el cual se albergan animales abandonados, se les proporcionan los cuidados veterinarios, de limpieza y manutención necesarios hasta encontrarles un hogar de adopcion definitivo.

Nous prenons sous notre protection galgos ou podencos venant des fourrières, errants, blessés, mutilés. Nous payons soins, opérations chirurgicales si besoin, préparations (stérilisations, vaccinations, passeport..) en vue d'adoption. Nous avons fait le choix de placer nos protégés dans une pension sécurisée et payante en Espagne afin qu'ils soient en sécurité jusqu'à l'adoption.

Son muchos los animales mayores y ancianos que tenemos en la protectora, estas criaturas permanecerán hasta el fin de sus días con nosotras, tienen problemas de huesos ( movilidad) de visión, alimentaria, otitis y dermatitis crónicas, tienen mucha medicación y cuidados especiales, alguno de ellos usan pañales para dormir. Analíticas constante. Son muchos gastos, esta ayuda va para ellos, para mantener su salud y así garantizar su calidad de vida el tiempo que estén con nosotras. Gracias!!!
