Sanctuary "Alma Guiomar" is a beautiful place located next to the Randa mountain. It is dedicated to the rescue of greyhounds in a situation of abandonment and serious abuse, coming from the hunting environment. And especially old or sick greyhounds who have a greater difficulty in their adoption. Our work / effort is aimed at your physical and mental / emotional recovery. The "Alma Guiomar" Sanctuary is a beautiful spot near Randa, dedicated to the rehabilitation of elderly and sick greyhounds/podencos, abandoned and/or severely abused, from the hunting environment, and senior dogs rescued from the Son Reus and Natura Park kennels. All of them have little or no chance of being adopted. Our work focuses on their physical and emotional recovery, helping them begin a new life in a loving family home. Funds are used to cover their upkeep and veterinary expenses.

Hoy quería agradecer de una forma muy especial y sentida la ayuda recibida de mis queridos teamers.
Es una aportación pequeñita, pero me ayuda no solo para los gastos periódicos de alimentación, desparasitación y vacunas.
En casa, sabéis que estamos sosteniendo a bastantes abuelitos y también tenemos enfermitos, con tratamientos de leishmania (Bizcochito), cardiológicos (Casper y Pollita), oculares (Lusy y Minnie), artrosicos (todos los abuelitos, con inyectable de Librela, cbd, condroprotectores y antiinflamatorios), hay que hacer analíticas/ifis de revision y ecocardiogramas, y mantenemos tratamientos de Fortekor plus 5/10, alopurinol, leishguard, impromune, Xalatan, Acular, Lipolasic, previcox, traumeel, vitaminas, boswelia, levadura de cerveza, aparte de las visitas de especialidad oftalmológica, neurológica y de corazon... todo ello con un coste muy elevado, que ha empeorado con las cirugías de hernia discal de Neusy y Canela, más sus sesiones de rehabilitación.
