Help us to help more animals! SCARS is an organization in Athens, helping mainly cats but we will help any any other animal in need. Our goal and dream is spaying and neutering stray cats (sometimes we manage to do 100 cats per month), we take under our care special need animals (blind, deaf, three legged etc) and many times these animals require very expensive surgeries. All our cat colonies need montly support of food (we feed more than 700 street cats). Every euro counts, so we can help

Vaso has a shelter in her home town of Gargalianoi Greece about 70 km from Kalamata where she cares and protects for 60 dogs and 28 cats in her shelter and the strays in her town. She has been rescuing Greek animals for nearly 20 years. She struggles to meet the daily costs for food and medicines let alone vet care . These animals have all been saved from the streets many pregnant or abused in unspeakable ways or as puppies Teaming will help Vaso meet some of their needs.

The association Kitmir Tierhilfe Demirtas e.V. was founded in 2012 and helps stray animals in Turkey. We take care of neutering, look after feeding stations, provide medical care and offer a home to stray animals when they cannot survive alone on the street. In our shelter we currently accommodate between 40-50 dogs and 15-20 cats.

Daniela Knezevic and Nadine Bartel lead the Kitten Safe House. They usually take on injured street cats, kitten thrown into the trash or abandoned cats. Try to look after them well and give them in good hands. They also look after feeding sites and catches the cats for castration. Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.
