Sosgolden is a non-profit association created in 2007 with the sole purpose of helping and defending those who have no voice, our animals. We are a shelter dedicated to rescuing Golden and Labrador Retrievers in particular, but we welcome any dog that needs to be rescued. We have a group of wonderful volunteers and caregivers who look for families for our "stars" and with your help we can heal them and prepare them to be sponsored or adopted.

Der Verein Hand in Hand Glückshof hat seit 1997 einen Lebenshof für Tiere und Menschen mit besonderen Bedürfnissen, insb. beschlagnahmte Pferde und traumatisierte Hunde und ist gemeinnützig anerkannt. Wir fördern nachhaltige Hilfen im Land, sowie politische und rechtliche Arbeit. Chirita Oana takes care of street dogs and abandoned puppies. With a small group of supporters, she has established a dog shelter 30 km from Bucharest. (www.schutzhof-fuer-hunde.com) To alleviate the financial worries, I (Kerstin Sam) founded this group. We are in constant contact with each other in order to be able to help immediately. Unsere Tierschützerin Andra vom Verein Happy Tails Brasov hat ihre Arbeit und ihre privaten Bedürfnisse komplett aufgegeben, da sie das Elend auf den Straßen Rumäniens nicht mehr ertragen konnte. Ihr ganzes Leben sind die Tiere. Jedes gerettete Tier wird bei ihr auf der "Happy Burg" betreut.❤️ Wir sind KEIN Shelter. Viele Hunde und Katzen konnten ein schönes Zuhause finden. Aber auch die nicht vermittelbaren Tiere finden bei ihr ein ZUHAUSE und müssen nicht zurück auf die Straße.

As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. * MAINTAINING A SHELTER of over 1500 homeless dogs in Tg-Jiu without any help from the authorities. * SPAYING & NEUTERING of pets and stray dogs to control the dog and cat populations. * EDUCATING CHILDREN to understand the importance to treat animals well * HELPING ANIMALS IN NEED in the area e.g. feeding stray dogs, rescuing abandoned & abused animals, filing animal cruelty reports to the police and promoting awareness on animal rights.
