De stichting Second Chance Foundation Nederland (SCFN) is opgericht in 2008. Wij proberen in algehele zin het recht van de dieren in een aantal door ons ondersteunde asielen in het buitenland te beschermen en de plaatselijke bevolking van dit recht bewust te maken. Onze doelstelling is om de door ons gesteunde rescue centers welke zorg dragen voor het redden en veiligstellen van verwaarloosde en mishandelde (zwerf)honden en katten te ondersteunen in de breedste zin van het woord.

Lostdogzzz helpt baasjes bij het zoeken naar vermiste honden. De baasjes worden op verschillende manieren ondersteund: delen van informatie via sociale media, maken van flyers om op te hangen, zoekteams die ter plaatse de baasjes helpen bij flyeren, spotten, ... , het maken van voerplekken en inzetten van vangkooien en camera's waar mogelijk. Het bestuur en de vrijwilligers doen dit gratis, maar aankoop, onderhoud en gebruik van materiaal kost wel geld. Daarom deze teaminggroep.

Sasha takes care of 750 unwanted dogs .. – this has never been his dream - but the dogs are there, waiting for food, waiting for help.. every day..again. The dogs are kept in packs, they run free for 8 hours per day, they eat, rest and play together. They are safe. Safe from the dangers of the street and humans. We help them with food and basic medication. We also run a sterilization program and try to improve care for the old and weaker dogs and abandoned pups.

Our goal is to feed, to sterilise and give medical care to straycats and -dogs in Morocco. Local caretakers feed the animals every day. They monitor the strays. If an animal gets sick or wounded they will be brought to the vet for medical treatment. Tamara is the lady behind the dog shelter in Serbia. She currently (2025) takes care of 63 dogs, for each dog we need €20 per month (for care, food, sterilization, vaccinations, ...)
