Refugio Romeo & Co - Proyecto Adefeve

Refugio Romeo & Company is a family-run rescue in Gran Canaria where more than 70 cats, rescued dogs, and other animals live free, without cages and far from suffering. Here there are no isolated or confined animals, only real second chances. We work in direct collaboration with Asociación de Defensa Felina y Otros Animales de Vecindario (Adefeve), which manages this group’s funds, ensuring transparency and continuity in saving lives.

Refugio Romeo & Company is a family-run rescue in Gran Canaria where more than 70 cats, rescued dogs, and other animals live free, without cages and far from suffering. Here there are no animals locked away or isolated, but a big family built on rescues, daily care, veterinary treatments, and real second chances. We work in direct collaboration with Asociación de Defensa Felina y Otros Animales de Vecindario (Adefeve), as an active part of their animal protection work. Most of the cats are under their veterinary and legal management, while the refuge takes care of daily care and recovery. For this reason, the group’s funds are managed through Adefeve, ensuring transparency and continuity. Every Teamer helps directly to save lives.
