GroinGroin sauve et recueille des animaux "d'élevage" et leur offre une nouvelle vie loin de la violence des abattoirs. Le refuge sensibilise le grand public au respect de tous les animaux et invite chacun à se questionner sur ses modes de consommation.
In 2024, your donations made it possible to: • Provide for 91 rescued animals and welcome 2 new ones: Jack the dog and Bigoudi the piglet. • Create a new living space for the refuge’s birds. • Double all the fences to enhance the safety of pigs and chickens: 6 km of fencing! • Fund in-depth veterinary examinations and innovative treatments. • Raise awareness about farm animals among over a thousand people through visits to the refuge (9 Happig Days, 1 VIPig) and nearly 200 students via 11 Happig Schools (live virtual refuge tours broadcast directly to classrooms). • Promote the cause through media coverage (32 articles, reports, and interviews) and on social media. • Support the creation or development of other refuges by sharing our experience with project leaders.
