RAVE East Village Artist Residency deals with the role and responsibility of contemporary art in relation to the otherness represented by animals, and with the need to rethink ourselves through biocentrism and antispeciesism. RAVE East Village Artist Residency

RAVE is a sanctuary for rescued animals and trees, located in Friuli, in the historic village of Soleschiano (Manzano, Udine). We save animals from suffering and death, and care for them with love and dedication, both physically and emotionally. Whenever possible, we rescue trees that would otherwise be cut down, including some centuries-old ones. Your donation will be used for veterinary expenses, feed, supplements, medicines, hay, materials for the maintenance of the animals’ shelters, dental care, and urgent or necessary surgical procedures. The animals are entrusted to the experience of Tiziana who, since childhood, has saved more than two hundred lives, with ongoing support from veterinarians, zoologists, and specialists. Tiziana and the volunteers freely offer their time and work. RAVE is also an art project aimed at promoting sensitivity towards other living beings and ecosystems through culture and art

Stiamo facendo di tutto per salvare Copper dalla polmonite bilaterale con versamento pleurico che l’ha colpita dal primo di gennaio, quando tutto è iniziato con un blocco esofageo.
La veterinaria la sta seguendo anche due volte al giorno, ha dovuto fare diverse ecografie, sondini, biopsie, terapie antibiotiche, antinfiammatorie e vitaminiche. Sono tutto il giorno con lei fino a sera tardi, le faccio le iniezioni e tutte le terapie e le cure necessarie. Ma purtroppo ancora non sta bene, e ancora mangia pochissimo. Ringrazio di cuore le persone che ci stanno aiutando e la veterinaria che la segue quotidianamente.
Grazie del vostro prezioso sostegno, perché i costi sono davvero tanti, e faremo tutto il possibile per salvarla.
