At the Josep Carreras Foundation we have been working for more than 30 years to make leukaemia a 100% curable disease, to find 100% compatible donors for everyone, and to make displaced patients feel at home. La asociación Calor y Café de Granada, lleva a cabo proyectos de Cooperación al Desarrollo, interviniendo en 34 poblados de Kenia, en la zona de Amakuriat en North Pokot. Amakuriat es una región muy deprimidas y de difícil acceso. La falta de recursos y una climatología extrema implica malnutrición y la falta de agua potable, siendo Calor y Café la única ONG que interviene en estas zonas. Trabajamos desde 1995 en las áreas de educación (construcción de guarderías), sanidad, alimentación y agua.
