In the mountains of northern Morocco, Leeny and her small team tirelessly and lovingly cared for injured, abused, or sick stray dogs. At the Beldi Refuge, approximately 100 dogs find shelter, care, and attention. But our goal goes far beyond that: Through education, neutering, and vaccinations as part of the TNVT program, we aim to end the suffering of stray animals in the long term and fundamentally change attitudes toward dogs in the region. Together, we are many ❤️

SpecialDogs e.V. stands for sustainable animal welfare at home and abroad – with a focus on Romania and Germany. In Romania, we pursue effective animal welfare through spay/neuter programs, education, political advocacy, and carefully selected adoptions. In Germany, we run the “New Start” project: here we take in dogs in need that would otherwise have no chance – animals that have already bitten or are facing euthanasia.

Anima Lefkada e.V. ist ein 2017 gegründeter Verein, der die Verhältnisse vor Ort nachhaltig verändern und verbessern möchte. Dabei ist es uns besonders wichtig, Hunde und Katzen zu kastrieren und damit die unkontrollierte Vermehrung zu stoppen. Wir leisten Aufklärung, appellieren an die Regierung und machen auf unseren Verein und unsere Projekte aufmerksam. Da es hier keine Tierheime gibt, wurde die Notfellstation als private Einrichtung gegründet.

Savethedogsbih is a non-profit organization in Bosnia. We rescue dogs that have been abandoned, abused and chained up. For over 6 years, the founder Bruno Jelovic and his team have been caring for over 1000 dogs. Our dogs are not kept in kennels, but live on our ranches where they can just be dogs. We are committed to growing and plan to build more ranches to accommodate more dogs.
