Friends of the Cats Guardamar del Segura aims to create a community of neighbors and people interested in animal welfare, and to publicize the real situation of the cats of Guardamar, especially the colony of cats located in El Espigón (Desembocadura del Segura) which is located within the Las Dunas Marina where two people from the area regularly attend to feed and improve the life of the colony.

Todas las personas que componemos el equipo de "La Madrileña" procedemos del mundo de la protección animal, en el que hemos trabajado durante muchos años y por el que seguimos luchando todos los días. Nuestra misión es ayudar a tantos perros y gatos abandonados como podamos, rescatándoles y encontrándoles una familia en adopción, proporcionándoles un lugar seguro y la segunda oportunidad que todos los animales mas desfavorecidos se merecen.
