Against child hunger. We are an orphanage in Kibera, the largest slum settlement in Africa, which helps the most vulnerable and needy children in the area. We need donations to help us feed 26 children who are already living with us plus 45 who are coming to spend the weekend. The more help we gather, the sooner we can get more children off the street! Alba is an inteligent funny and amusing girl. Although we well could say “was”, as a terrible tragic accident happened on fateful march 21st 2016. A relative, who was in a shock due to an epileptic attack, let Alba fall from a third floor. Alba saved her life, but a strong brain damage remains on her. Now, we have a long neurorehabilitation process left ahead to see how much she can recover and become herself again a bit. Help us!

El Orfanato de San Roque se encuentra a las afueras de Maputo, Mozambique. Actualmente el centro cuenta con 46 niños y niñas internos en primaria y otros 30 externos cursando secundaria en colegios o internados. Todos ellos, llegan al centro a través de la asistenta social y los servicios sociales mozambiqueños. La ONGD Amigos del Orfanato de San Roque se encarga de recaudar fondos para mantener el centro. No tiene sede física y todas las personas que trabajan son voluntarias.
