OXA was founded to better inform the public about animal experimentation and to gather references, to make them accessible and organize them, and to act towards real transparency on both documents and practices as well as the state of the scientific, societal and ethical debate.
OXA was born in part from the challenge of accessing information—whether in finding documents or identifying those relevant to our interests. The OXA Documentation Center is designed as a response to this issue. Ultimately, it aims to become a collaborative tool, allowing anyone to suggest documents for indexing, which will then be validated, curated, and organized by the OXA team.
