Thousands of girls like Kokebe walk up to 12 kilometres every day in search of water for their families in Ethiopia. Discover with us how you can help them go to school by building a water well. Since 2005, the NGO Acción, Desarrollo, Sostenibilidad (formerly Amigos de Silva) has been providing water so that all these girls have access to education (www.adsong.org).

Now you can be part of our challenge by sponsoring kilometers of solidarity. In Ethiopia, the responsibility of supplying the vital resource of water to the family falls on girls and women, who dedicate precious hours to this obligation that could be spent at school. Much of Ethiopia's population does not have access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation. The drought is further exacerbating this situation. ADS is working to provide clean water to the affected population.
