NTT DATA joins forces with Luzon Foundation to give voice to ALS patients

Carlos is a partner of everis who was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 32. Since then, he has not stopped fighting against the disease and has been an example for overcoming it: he has run more than 600 km in 13 marathons in his wheelchair. His colleagues join the campaign "Give voice to ALS patients", to provide information, training and support to people with ALS in technological options that allow them to communicate and build relations. Creamos este Grupo Teaming para apoyar a Carlos, socio de NTT DATA, en su lucha y hoy realizamos esta primera donación a la Fundación Luzon. Como consecuencia de la ELA, las personas tienen debilidad muscular disminuyendo progresivamente su autonomía motora; la comunicación oral, la deglución y la respiración. La Fundación Luzón forma a las personas en opciones tecnológicas que les permitan comunicarse. Esta fundación trabaja para mejorar la calidad de vida de los enfermos de ELA y su entorno, promover una mejora de su atención socio-asistencial, impulsar la investigación, visibilizar y monitorizar la enfermedad, así como potenciar la Comunidad de la ELA en el territorio nacional e internacional, siendo el paciente y su familia el centro de gravedad.
