We have about 600 Cats in controlled colonies. The oldest cat in the colony was KITTY with 25 years of age. We currently have many cats over the age of 17 in our colonies. Every week felines in very bad condition are RESCUED, they live in the HOGAR de los Gatos. The Sanctuary's job is to regain their physical and mental state to find a new family for them. About 700 Cats depend on us, all of them receive their veterinary assistance when they need it.

In MONA Foundation, abused chimpanzees and macaques are recovering from their previous lives as circus artists, television actors, and even pets.MONA gives them a second chance at a life free of pain and abuse. We are an association formed by volunteers who love these little beings that one day sneaked into our lives. We help to feed and control colonies of cats in Barcelona, rescuing and giving up abandoned puppies and adult cats. Somos un grupo de chicas de casa de acogida, tenemos nuestras casas llenas de peludos recojidos de la calle o sacados de la perrera y al ver que no damos a vasto queremos crear un refugio con el que poder salvar mas animales de los que caben en nuestros hogares y proporcionarles una vida digna asta que los adopten tambien necesitamos voluntarios para pasearlos y darles el cariño que esta sociedad les a negado se que hay mucha buena gente comprometida con los animales y nos ayudareis a consegirlo

When you rescue abused animals, you must provide a safe area where no one can harm them again, a shelter that protects them from the cold, rain and sun. Build pipes so they can drink clean water and an electrical installation in case you have to take care of them at night, or keep them warm. AMIGOS DE LOS GATOS DEL POBLENOU-BCN Somos un pequeño grupo de voluntari@s particulares que cuidamos y protegemos varias colonias de gatos en el barrio del Poblenou de Barcelona, pero también brindamos ayuda a cualquier gato que nos pueda necesitar, sea abandonado, perdido o en dificultad. Les alimentamos, damos asistencia veterinaria,hacemos control mediante el método CER, promovemos adopciones responsables, les construimos refugios artesanales,...procurándoles una mejor calidad de vida.
