ànimaL (pun meaning animal soul in catalan) is a non-profit association in the Maresme area. We are vegan activists who dedicate our time and energy to a more ethical and conscious world. Santuario Vegan was born in 2011 with the purpose that we work for every day of the year: saving and protecting farmed animals. Thanks to your support, more than 300 residents: horses, donkeys, cows, bulls, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry were saved from a certain death. Here, they receive love, care and health treatment in a natural space away from exploitation.

When you rescue abused animals, you must provide a safe area where no one can harm them again, a shelter that protects them from the cold, rain and sun. Build pipes so they can drink clean water and an electrical installation in case you have to take care of them at night, or keep them warm. To get THE safe HOME that these almost 300 animals need, we only have our hands and your donations. Your monthly euro can help us achieve this.

Santuario Compasión Animal es un centro de rescate para animales de granja. Ofrecemos hogar a animales que han sufrido explotación, maltrato y abandono. Les proporcionamos una vida digna, alimentación, cuidados veterinarios y todo lo que necesitan para vivir en paz. Queremos un futuro en el que los animales sean tratados con compasión y respeto, un futuro en el que no haya crueldad hacia ellos.

Somos una fundación privada, independiente y sin ánimo de lucro activa desde 2004. Empezamos con la actividad principal de apadrinar, adoptar y rescatar animales salvajes y de compañía. A raíz de la experiencia adquirida como profesionales del sector, en 2012, decidimos iniciar un proceso de transformación interno. Pusimos nuestro conocimiento y recursos para incidir en las causas de forma más estratégica trabajando desde la acción en el ámbito social, legislativo y educativo.

We currently have more than 90 animals in our care: foxes, raccoons, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits , cats, turtles, dogs, etc. We fight to give a new life to all of them! We are a multispecie animal refuge, we give home to more than 150 animals of 14 different species, all the animals who live here have come to us from abusive situations or because they had no other options. Our goal is that the animals that have arrived here have the best quality of life possible and with their stories people get to know them and understand that all lives matter.

Santuario Espíritu Libre (Free Spirit Sanctuary) it's an antispecist refuge for animals who are consider as farm animals, being exploited, abused and abandoned, and who need a second chance to live and get over not only in physically but also in emotionally terms. La Asociacion Protectora de Animales y Plantas de Zafra: El Refugio de Brown es una entidad sin ánimo de lucro orientada a la preservación de los derechos de los animales y plantas, promoviendo actividades y campañas de concienciación. La asociación tiene un refugio ubicado en Zafra (Badajoz) en el cual se albergan animales abandonados, se les proporcionan los cuidados veterinarios, de limpieza y manutención necesarios hasta encontrarles un hogar de adopcion definitivo.
