Little Flower Mercy Home is an eco-home NGO (based on self-sufficiency) that welcomes the most disadvantaged people in South India: - CHILDREN from tribes, abandoned, abused (physically and sexually by their stepfathers -something very common in India-) - ADULTS mentally and physically disabled, homeless, deaf, blind (ex prostitutes, ex drug addicts, divorced women who cannot support themselves…). Its mission is to provide them with a home, food, protection, schooling and emotional education.
Apart from the day-to-day expenses for food, water, schooling, medicines, etc. These are some of the projects we want to achieve: - Install a water purifier - Buy a washing machine - Build a separate psychiatric building for women - Build a new indoor dining room in the Mens Asylum - Buy the nearby land to make a soccer field and a basketball field for boys and girls - Beds, mattresses, coats, pillows, blankets and sheets - Computers and computer equipment for children - Special needs (armchair, water beds, ...) - Amazon Wish List

Estoy trabajando en un nuevo proyecto que pronto saldrá a la luz: realizar unas tote bag (para picnic y ciudad) con los dibujos que me hicieron los niños, mis "little flowers" como me gusta llamarlos. Antes de irme, les pedí que me dibujaran "que era para ellos unas "little flowers" o pequeñas flores en castellano. Mi idea es poder ir a visitarlos de nuevo este año, traerles estas bolsas como sorpresa/regalo y recaudar más fondos para esta gran familia/casa.

He tenido la oportunidad de ver parte de las instalaciones por videollamada y la verdad es que hacen una gran labor.
He podido intercambiar algunas palabras con los niños y niñas que me saludaban sonrientes y con el médico.
La voluntaria que está llevando a cabo esta iniciativa fantástica está llenándolos de alegría en su día a día así que espero que con este euro tengan un día a día un poco mejor.

La communauté est bienveillante, rayonnante, pleine de vie. Le travail fait par les fondateurs est impressionnant dans cette Inde rurale et isolée. Les enfants ont le droit à une nouvelle vie et une nouvelle famille.
La communidad es llena de vida. El trabajo de los fundadores es impresionante en esta India rural. Los niños tienen la posibilidad de empezar una nueva vida y de tener nueva familia aquí
