The NGO “Hogar de las Niñas" has the "Ma Sarada" home in India, hosting 285 girls with ages from 4 to 21 years old, who come from extremely poor backgrounds. The aim of the Hogar de las Niñas is to provide the girls with adequate living and education standards, as well as a healthy diet, which palliates the malnutrition and anemia problems they are currently facing. The doctor recommends they be provided with a diet rich in animal protein, in addition to the vegetables and rice.
