Nahiarte is a creation space where we train artists with mental or intellectual disabilities, to promote their inclusion in the world of work in creative jobs. We offer a personal and professional development program in an artistic environment that encourages participation and social interaction, highlighting the productive capabilities of each member and visualizing their worth.
NAHIARTE is an artistic creation laboratory for artists with mental or intellectual disabilities, located in the heart of Bilbao, with over 10 years of experience. Our project is based on opening new worlds of possibility for this community, unleashing their creative side, and valuing their desires and potential. We provide training and promotion for artists with mental or intellectual disabilities so they can take on professional roles as designers and artists—because that’s what they are. We support them on their journey. But we need help to sustain the jobs of the artists at NAHIARTE.

La sala de exposiciones de la Cámara vizcaína acogerá estas obras de 8:00h a 20:00h, de lunes a viernes hasta el 16 de enero.
Las obras cuestionan las etiquetas del arte marginal y reivindican la inclusión de diversos estilos. El trabajo de los participantes de Bilbao FormArte suele encasillarse bajo la etiqueta Arte Outsider (arte marginal).
La organización propone el término Inside Art, defendiendo que las obras tienen la posibilidad de incluirse en tendencias y estilos actuales en lugar de ser catalogadas como marginales.
Bilbao FormArte
Bilbao FormArte es un espacio de creación artística que trabaja para que sus alumnos tengan un crecimiento tanto a nivel artístico como personal. El objetivo de esta organización es que personas con discapacidad psíquica y/o intelectual continúen su formación a través del arte, aumentar su creatividad y desarrollar su propia obra.
