Nahiarte is a creation space where we train artists with mental or intellectual disabilities, to promote their inclusion in the world of work in creative jobs. We offer a personal and professional development program in an artistic environment that encourages participation and social interaction, highlighting the productive capabilities of each member and visualizing their worth.
NAHIARTE is an artistic creation laboratory for artists with mental or intellectual disabilities, located in the heart of Bilbao, with over 10 years of experience. Our project is based on opening new worlds of possibility for this community, unleashing their creative side, and valuing their desires and potential. We provide training and promotion for artists with mental or intellectual disabilities so they can take on professional roles as designers and artists—because that’s what they are. We support them on their journey. But we need help to sustain the jobs of the artists at NAHIARTE.

El miércoles 25 de marzo vivimos un momentazo tremento: recibimos el Premio Laboral Kutxa “Hay otra forma”, ¡y además elegido por la audiencia!
Aún seguimos con la sonrisa puesta.
En Nahiarte trabajamos cada día con personas con discapacidad psíquica y/o intelectual para que puedan desarrollar su carrera profesional en el mundo artístico.
Nuestro sueño es convertir Bilbao en un referente estatal de inclusión artística… y vamos a por ello.
Por eso estamos buscando un nuevo espacio, más grande y con más posibilidades, que nos permita seguir creciendo y llegar todavía más lejos.
