Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

Savethedogsbih is a non-profit organization in Bosnia. We rescue dogs that have been abandoned, abused and chained up. For over 6 years, the founder Bruno Jelovic and his team have been caring for over 1000 dogs. Our dogs are not kept in kennels, but live on our ranches where they can just be dogs. We are committed to growing and plan to build more ranches to accommodate more dogs.

At Teaming, more than 430,000 people Change Lives with €1 a month. For more than 13 years we have been helping all kinds of social causes to get constant financial help completely free of charge. With 25 euro a dog is fed for a month, so we need 25 Teamers to feed one dog. Thomas' mission in life is to care for the needy animals in Nea Kallikratia / Greece. He feeds and cares for 140 dogs and other rescued animals on his secure property and he cares for at least 30 dogs and more than 60 cats on the streets in the region. He does not receive any financial support from the government or other institutions. He depends on donations to be able to continue his work.
