La Protectora d’Animals de Tàrrega es va fundar el 1996 i és una associació sense ànim de lucre, gestionada per voluntàries. A la prote ens ocupem dels gossos i gosses abandonats i perduts de l’Urgell, i actualment tenim una vuitantena de refugiats. El nostre propòsit és ser un lloc de pas (tristament necessari) on salvar, protegir, estimar, dignificar i aconseguir famílies adoptives per a qui han tractat amb menyspreu. Ens esforcem per recuperar somriures perduts i recomposar ànimes trencades.
