This Teaming group was created to save stray animals in Watamu, Kenya, from hunger, disease, and certain death. Today, thanks to the first support received, we have two catteries on 7,000 square meters of land, and the veterinary clinic has been completed. But there is still so much to do: we must continue with sterilizations, treatments, and expansion works to help as many animals as possible, including dogs. Every small help can become life, protection, and hope.
Mici Randagi Watamu Kenya takes care of rescuing strays, especially cats, to provide for their care and sterilization. The phenomenon of stray animals is a problem in a land already plagued by hunger and precarious situations. Raising awareness among the local people about helping defenseless animals allows us to avoid horrendous deaths and at the same time the help of the locals is rewarded in order to also support the families. At least 1500 cats have been sterilized over time and at least 500 strays have been treated, including dogs. Progetto Bimba today has an almost complete structure, the staff house and veterinary clinic are still missing. Can you help us finish this big project?
