We had 18 stray cats. We provided them with food, beds, litter boxes, medication, and deworming treatments, and we implemented the TNR (trap, neuter, return) protocol. It was a significant expense, all covered by us. Thirteen of the cats were poisoned; only four survived, and only three of those were neutered. Shortly after, the unneutered adult male brought home a young female kitten with whom he had a litter, and now, at six months old, it's time to neuter them.
