Ciudad Animal es un refugio situado en el corazón de la Mancha, donde el galgo y los demás perros de caza son castigados, además de otros mestizos. Ahora mismo hay aproximadamente 200 perros que buscan una oportunidad. Llevamos 10 años luchando diariamente para conseguir ayudas y poder seguir con nuestra labor. AVPD, Asociación Valencia Perrera Dogs, are a registered charity in Spain (G98900228). Our objective is to find rescue spaces and other safe and caring opportunities for the dogs saved from perreras (dog pounds) and for those found abandoned on the street.

Mireya was a galga found in the worst possible conditions in Spain, the had endured the most horrendous torture to be finally hung by her galgueros. She managed to break free and her life was in the hands of the specialists to survive her ordeal. The world lit their candles in her name. Mireya will dedicate her life to helping more of her brothers and sisters having to endure these barbaric acts of torture. Every penny raised will go in aid of helping the abused hunting dogs in Spain.

La Fondation Benjamin Mehnert est une organisation à but non lucratif qui se consacre à la défense d'animaux de compagnie qui souffrent de mauvais traitements ou de négligence. Nous concentrons notre travail principalement sur le sauvetage, le rétablissement et le déplacement des lévriers dans les foyers familiaux, leur offrant ainsi une nouvelle opportunité comme animaux de compagnie. Bien que nous nous consacrions principalement à la récupération des lévriers, actuellement dans notre refuge vivent plus de 700 animaux....
