We're Gatalunya, a team of volunteers working with animals in Barcelona, Spain. We are a mix of locals and foreigners, and work in English, Spanish and Catalán. We began in September 2018 and since then we have found homes for 250+ cats and 20+ dogs and there's there's much more we can do! Meet little man Django, he needs your help. He was left at the shelter some time ago and we all thought he was blind and a lost case, but recently he was brought to the veterniary and turns out there is still hope for him! He is suffering from Chronic Dry Eye Syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca) and Leishmania. He needs constant medication not to go blind that we do not have the funds to provide. Hi! We are volunteers who look after feral cat colonies in Montjuïc, Barcelona. We feed around 14 cats every day. We also build little shelters for them to take refuge in when the weather's bad. If they're ill or injured we trap them to take them to the vet, sometimes with the help of an association, but they often lack resources so we pay out of our own pockets. We also find homes for some of the cats when they can no longer survive on the street for whatever reason.
