APADAN es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro dedicada a la defensa, rescate y rehabilitación de perros abandonados en Galicia. Mantiene un refugio en Culleredo (A Coruña) con 120 perros que han sido recogidos con el fin último de encontrarles un hogar. Tu euro se transformará en alimentos y atención veterinaria para sus perros acogidos, pero también en actividades de educación y sensibilización en el respeto y tenencia responsable de animales domésticos. Currently, we continue working in this area by funding digital licenses and providing equipment to secondary school students who, due to their family's economic situation, cannot access these essential resources.

We are more than 1,600 volunteers and although our best known face is suicide intervention, our goal is to care for people in situations of emotional crisis: loneliness, depression, anxiety, life crisis, etc. Free of charge, we offer a 24-hour telephone GUIDANCE SERVICE, 365 days a year and FOLLOW-UP MONITORING with psychologists in those cases that need it. We teach WORKSHOPS about personal development for prevention and emotional education.

We are a multispecie animal refuge, we give home to more than 150 animals of 14 different species, all the animals who live here have come to us from abusive situations or because they had no other options. Our goal is that the animals that have arrived here have the best quality of life possible and with their stories people get to know them and understand that all lives matter.
