Gaia Sanctuary Foundation is a vegan rescue and recovery center for animals considered as farm, where those who have been exploited, mistreated or abandoned, receive the necessary care to have a decent life for the rest of their lives. Our dogs and cats need their food ration and their daily pills. Many of them are victims of accidents that require expensive surgeries and chronic diseases. In addition, in order to take care of them as they deserve, we must maintain our hostel with all the costs that this entails. If you become a teamer, contributing only € 1 per month, your money will help to pay those interventions, treatments and maintenance of all our animals. They will greatly appreciate it!

Every year, 7,000 birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians (almost twenty animals per day on average) are admitted to GREFA's Wildlife Hospital in Majadahonda (Madrid), to be treated for a wide range of injuries or pathologies. The priority of our veterinarians and wildlife rehabilitators, assisted by GREFA's volunteers, is to return these animals to their natural habitat once they have reached ideal conditions for life in the wild. The association Burrita Carmela is a 100% family project where we take care of 24 donkeys and donkeys. All the money raised goes towards veterinary costs, food and maintenance of the facilities. This association is supported by its own and private financial efforts, so your collaboration is very valuable to us. Burrita Carmela is located in El Barrio Gumuzio in Amorebieta-Etxano, Bizkaia.
