In the school canteen in Seduwa, in the Makalu Valley (Nepal), we provide meals to 30 boys and girls and offer fair employment to the cook, Chandra Mara. Additionally, we have renovated a hostel to accommodate these children who live far from the school, and we have initiated an eco-farm to supply it. Close to Liberia's capital Monrovia, Martha Dewellie, a 54 years old Liberian teacher, has founded this home for Orphans over 30 years ago. Nowadays 19 babies, children, teenagers and young adults are living together as a family. The Orphanage consists only of a common room, a bedroom for boys, one for girls and latrines. Nello Yemen 1 bambino su 5 soffre di malnutrizione acuta (2,3 milioni in totale). 500.000 sono a rischio di morte. Le famiglie non hanno soldi per l’ospedale né per il cibo necessario. Sotto la supervisione pediatrica yemenita ci prendiamo cura di casi gravi e difficili. Diamo latte, cibo, medicine, assistenza medica, paghiamo i ricoveri ospedalieri, etc fino alla guarigione o miglioramento. Con 1 € si paga 1 giorno di latte per 1 bambino. Ogni 10€ compriamo 1 lattina di latte per 4 giorni.
