Loro non hanno voce umana ma noi possiamo parlare per loro, diffondendo rispetto, tutela e cura. Operiamo su Catania e provincia, il nostro territorio è difficile ma la possibilità di poter convivere pacificamente tra specie diverse esiste, contrastando crudeltà e violenza. The 'Rifugio del Micio' is a nonprofit organisation, working thanks our volunteers' commitment. Our aim is to take care and protect stray cats and to prevent straying.

We dedicate our efforts to improve the life of stray cats, saving, recovering and finding a home for them, giving them the opportunity for a dignified life. We operate within our homes and give a temporary home to cats in distress until they have a suit of their own. We do not have any kind of help from public bodies. we work only thanks to our strength and the help of wonderful people who support us!

Forniamo assistenza, protezione e sicurezza permanente ad asini e muli vittime di malattia, abuso e abbandono. Investighiamo e lavoriamo per impedire atti di crudeltà e maltrattamento e per aiutare gli asini in difficoltà (299 quelli raggiunti e aiutati nel solo 2016). Ci occupiamo di educazione e di interventi assistiti per persone con bisogni speciali. Siamo la sede italiana di The Donkey Sanctuary, ente che da quasi 50 anni opera in tutto il mondo in difesa degli asini.

Sabir kommt aus Aserbaidschan und hat als Arbeitsloser mit einer schweren Herz OP hinter sich gemeinsam mit seinen 2 Töchtern und seiner Frau bereits unzählige Katzen gerettet, obwohl ihm selbst das Geld nur knapp zum Essen reicht. Es kommen regelmäßig zu den 40 Katzen, die sie versorgen müssen, neue Katzen dazu, sowohl ausgewachsene, als auch Kitten, die sie vor der grausamen Straße und den Menschen retten. Die Familie ist für jede Spende dankbar, denn für die Katzen zählt jeder Euro!

Nanni D‘Amato lebte bis vor kurzem mit circa 30 Katzen in einer Wohnung, in der es aber jetzt zu eng wurde. Nun hat er ein kleines Grundstück bekommen, auf dem er sich und seinen Schützlingen eine sichere Bleibe aufzubauen möchte. Nanni füttert und behandelt momentan zusätzlich über 30 Streunerkatzen, sichert sie nach Unfällen und päppelt sie wieder auf. Lass uns ihm nachhaltig helfen !

Ti fermi a riflettere, inaspettatamente ti arriva una chiamata: "c'è un gatto paralizzato vicino la cartoleria,devo scappare a lavoro, potresti andare a prenderlo?". Siamo una grande famiglia pelosa in Calabria, salviamo dalla strada cani randagi, li mettiamo in pensione, li curiamo e poi cerchiamo loro una famiglia, per fare tutto ciò però abbiamo bisogno di aiuto, da soli non possiamo farcela... Attualmente abbiamo 50 codine da sfamare e mantenere e a cui dovremmo trovare una bella famiglia

Mi chiamo Vittorio Russo, Ho 20 anni e vivo in un piccolo paesino in provincia di Agrigento, Canicattì. Tutto ebbe inizio non moltissimi anni fa quando io ero ancora molto piccolo, e in una giornata qualunque ho trovato la mia cagnetta impiccata in un albero...da quel giorno in poi tutti i cani che vedevo per strada li portavo a casa, li curavo e dopo gli trovavo famiglia... Purtroppo qua in sicilia le emergenze sono tante e io non c'è la posso fare... Aiutatemi.....

Oasi Ohana is a shelter for abandoned dogs or those who have spent their lives as strays, and is located in Santa Margherita di Belice, in the province of Agrigento. Ohana means family. Family means that no one is abandoned. Or forgotten. It was founded almost 10 years ago by Chiara Calasanzio, now 30, who transformed her family's country house into a real sanctuary for dogs. Hello! I'm Orazio, and this teaming group was created to support the feline colony of Torre Archirafi, in the province of Catania, Sicily. The colony was founded in 2020 and is regularly registered. Over the years, I've worked to give dignity to these little ones, sterilizing, neutering, deworming, and vaccinating them, and taking care of them daily. However, abandonment hasn't helped, and today we have 19 wonderful little ones. Expenses are high, so I'm asking for a small contribution to help.
