In the mountains of northern Morocco, Leeny and her small team tirelessly and lovingly cared for injured, abused, or sick stray dogs. At the Beldi Refuge, approximately 100 dogs find shelter, care, and attention. But our goal goes far beyond that: Through education, neutering, and vaccinations as part of the TNVT program, we aim to end the suffering of stray animals in the long term and fundamentally change attitudes toward dogs in the region.
