WHY is a former stray dog. Her mother was rescued heavily pregnant in Campania in 2018, and WHY found a loving home in December 2018. Her wish: that all her friends can also be rescued and find a family. Her mission: to alleviate the suffering of stray dogs in southern Italy through emergency aid and long-term projects. Italy is often overlooked in animal welfare, but WHY wants to change that. Join her mission – together, we can make a difference!

Animal welfare goes beyond national borders. Every animal deserves a chance at a dignified life. The association operates a shelter in Tunari, Romania. A maximum of 140 dogs can currently be taken in and cared for there. We take care of dogs that have had an accident or are in need, and we constantly rescue animals from the so-called killing-shelters. In addition, we support and organize castration campaigns and maintain a Germany-wide network of around 100 foster homes.

Wir, der Verein „ein Herz für Hunde“ kämpft gegen die traurige Lage auf der Deponie in Bihac in Bosnien. Hunderte Strassenhunde benötigen dort täglich Futter und Wasser. Neben der täglichen Angst zu verhungern, kommt natürlich auch das ständige Leben in Angst dazu. Da dies in einer Dimension stattfindet, die wir ohne fremde Hilfe nicht stemmen können, benötigen wir immer wieder Menschen mit Herz die uns helfen und spenden möchten.

Tierschutzbrücke München e.V. supports the Casa Cainelui animal shelter in the city of Timisoara in Romania. Approx. 300 dogs have to be constantly looked after there. In the animal shelter, however, they are already safe from the urban dog catchers and the killing stations. The regular castration projects on site also require a lot of commitment. Hello, we are 4 nature and animal loving people who volunteer for abandoned/abused animals in Spain. Currently, 5 dogs and 8 cats are housed and cared for on a 6000 square meter property. We would like to give these and more animals a permanent and loving home. Savethedogsbih is a non-profit organization in Bosnia. We rescue dogs that have been abandoned, abused and chained up. For over 6 years, the founder Bruno Jelovic and his team have been caring for over 1000 dogs. Our dogs are not kept in kennels, but live on our ranches where they can just be dogs. We are committed to growing and plan to build more ranches to accommodate more dogs.

Aus einer kleinen Gruppe privater Tierfreunde entstand 2006 unser Verein. Unser Name "Die Vergessenen e. V." kommt nicht von ungefähr: Wir haben es uns zur Aufgabe gemacht denen zu helfen, die oft vergessen werden. Darunter fallen vor allem alte, traumatisierte, kranke oder gehandicapte Tiere. In Polen sind solche Tiere quasi unvermittelbar. Deshalb tun wir alles in unserer Macht stehende, um gerade diesen treuen Seelen ein Für-immer-Zuhause zu schenken. Bitte helft uns auf diesem Weg.
