My WoRld (M.W.R)

Grupo de docentes que pretende ayudar a la escolarización en los poblados Maasai en Tanzania. La educación abre las puertas al mundo y creemos que puede ser la clave para acabar con la mutilación genital femenina y el matrimonio infantil. Ayudar a las pequeñas escuelas existentes con pupitres y mesas para que puedan aprender a escribir, voluntariados de docentes para impartir clases de inglés y creación de escuelas que puedan abastecerse por sí solas.

Following the path some Maasai leaders have undertaken toward critically reflecting on certain traditional practices, we believe that supporting the education of future generations may be the key to ending female genital mutilation and child marriage. At M.W.R, we work hand in hand with the Maasai community of Simanjiro (Tanzania) to create schools and equip existing ones with desks and other basic necessities to ensure they can provide quality education. Education creates free individuals. Attending school for free prevents child labor (such as herding livestock among the Maasai) and allows children to decide their role in society in the future.
