Guzmán is a boy with a rare disease: Hyper-IgM syndrome, an immunodeficiency that weakens his immune system. On 25/09/2024 he received a bone marrow transplant in Barcelona. Los fondos serán empleados para costear los gastos ocasionados del traslado de nuestra ciudad al hospital de referencia (situado a 800km), tanto traslado como estancia en dicha ciudad. Igualmente con este dinero se dará fondos para una investigación en curso abierta sobre genética, buscando otra cura para el síndrome hyper-igM. Al igual que otras investigaciones abiertas para apoyar las enfermedades raras.
