Operation Great Escape or Saving the Forgotten. Is run entirely by volunteers, with dogs, cats and other animals at Andrea Johnson's home or in local foster homes, or occasionally in paid residence. Andrea is helped by her children. Every animal saved makes a difference. Our first dogs saved were from perreras (pounds) in Northern Spain, since then we have taken on injured street dogs, dogs whose owners have died, and abandoned dogs. We are based in Alhaurin el Torre, Malaga.

Our group saves the mistreated and abandonned animals in Spain. The group has been run for many years by Maria Gloria Salinas-Picon. All dogs that we take on as a group are taken first to the vet and treated irrespective of costs. For those who cannot go to a foster residency is paid which is 90E each month. All dogs will have a full health check, micro-chips and vaccinations as well as a passport. Pictures and videos are published on the FaceBook page of the group.

Galgos del Sol is a non profit charity located in Murcia, Spain. We are dedicated to rescue abandoned and injured galgos to rehabilitate them and find them forever homes in different parts of the world. Thousands of galgos are abandoned or killed each year at the end of the hunting season. Galgos del Sol depends totally on donations for our survival, join our group and change the lives of many of them. Thank you.

Somos una asociación sin ánimo de lucro constituida en Ronda desde 2009. Ayudamos cuanto podemos a los animales con la colaboración de aquellos que nos conocen. 1€ es poco para una persona pero granito a granito es mucha ayuda para nuestros peludos. Nuestro proyecto Simbiosis incluirá en un futuro Terapias Asistidas con Animales, Psicología canina y Granja-Escuela. Por el momento estamos terminando el refugio para nuestros animales. Galgos Rescue Almeria (GRA) is een kleine shelter die zich vooral bekommerd om het lot van galgos en podencos.Deze rassen worden door de Spaanse overheid totaal niet beschermd daar ze gebruikt, zeg maar gerust misbruikt, worden voor de jacht en eigenlijk aanzien worden als een werktuig.Uiteraard sluiten we de ogen niet voor andere rassen/dieren in nood, en zetten wij ook voor hen ons hart en deuren open.

Rescani biedt hulp aan verenigingen en asielen in Spanje en Roemenië die honden van de straat en uit dodingsstations halen. Rescani helpt hen met: • financiële hulp voor medische kosten en operaties • Voeding voor de asielhondjes • adopties • opvang en noodhulp • Financiële ondersteuning bij sterilisatiecampagnes

Georgiana heeft meer dan 150 honden onder haar hoede. Deze honden moeten allemaal eten. Doordat de honden vaak in erbarmelijke toestand binnen komen, zijn de dierenartskosten vreselijk hoog. Maar als je met een groot dierenhart in Roemenië woont, kan je gewoon niet anders. Ooit wel eens in de ogen gekeken van een onschuldige ziel die op zijn dood zit te wachten in een dodingsstation? Daarom. Een vast bedragje per maand. Het zou de honden zoveel helpen, zekerheid geven op eten. Het minste.

Stichting de Nobele Hoeve is eind mei 2017 opgericht door Margarit Gerrits en heeft tot doel: het creëren van bewustwording op het gebied van welzijn van mens en dier, milieu en duurzaamheid om zo onze ecologische voetafdruk te verkleinen. De Nobele Hoeve houdt zich ook bezig met opvang en verzorging van verwaarloosde en mishandelde dieren. Deze dieren blijven daar hun hele oude dag, wat natuurlijk de nodige kosten met zich mee brengt. Op deze manier kunnen we zorgen voor extra ondersteuning.

Stichting Dogs from Spain provides home and care for various dogs (from Spain, but also from other countries) with physical or mental issues: dogs who are afraid of humans, can't adjust to living in a " normal" household, handicapped dogs (blind, lame) and for " just" old dogs saved from horrible lives. Somos una protectora de animales de Ecija, Aprenda. Llevamos luchando por la protección de los perritos de nuestra comunidad desde hace casi diez años. El hecho de crear este grupo es porque a pesar de llevar diez años, nunca hemos recibido ningún tipo de ayuda ni de subvenciones por parte de ningún organismo, y con casi 200 perros en unas instalaciones no precisamente buenas, iniciativas como éstas, nos darían un respiro.

We are an animal sanctuary in Muro de Alcoy. We have almost 100 animals with chronic illnesses, with trauma or who are handicapped. We are a family of 4 and work with 2 amazing volunteers.

For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations.
