L'Hirondelle is a wildlife rescue center that has been in operation since 1998. L'Hirondelle takes in all wild birds and mammals in distress with the aim of treating them and then releasing them back into their natural habitat. Intervening in the Rhône, Loire, Drôme, and Ardèche regions, the center cares for 7,000 wild animals each year.
