Kattenadvies iVZW is een non-profit organisatie, gesticht in 2014 door Kattengedragstherapeut Raf Van Duyse die als doel had om organisaties die zich inzetten voor verwaarloosde, gedumpte, mishandelde katten, financieel te steunen. Ook organisaties die willen werken aan het steriel maken van straatkatten, werden door hem gesteund. Ondertussen heeft een jongere generatie deze iVZW overgenomen en ook 1 van de doelen van Raf, nl Bosque Felino gelegen in Alicante, Spanje
My name is Noël, I'm from Belgium and I got to know Karen, funder of Bosque Felino, a cat shelter in Alicante. She runs the place alone, with only help from volunteers. 80 cats need food, medical care,... Me and my wife go over there on a regularly base, to help with all the work there is. Er zijn kleine gebaren die hele werelden veranderen. Een euro lijkt niet veel... totdat het voedsel, medicijnen, onderdak een hoop worden voor een kat die alles heeft verloren.
Bij El Bosque Felino werken we eraan om elk van hen een echte kans te geven om zonder angst te leven, een plek waar katten zich weer thuis voelen.
Maar we kunnen het niet alleen.
Jouw euro per maand is een zaadje van leven. Het is geen donatie: het is een maandelijkse knuffel voor degenen die dat het hardst nodig hebben .
