We're Gatalunya, a team of volunteers working with animals in Barcelona, Spain. We are a mix of locals and foreigners, and work in English, Spanish and Catalán. We began in September 2018 and since then we have found homes for 250+ cats and 20+ dogs and there's there's much more we can do! ADEMAL is a non-profit association, created against animal abuse and to defend it within the legal framework. Our main activity is to give public visibility to the complaints that reach us anonymously and are reported by us to the authorities. We are also working on the creation of a food bank to help people who, for economic reasons, cannot look after their pets to avoid abandonment.
