As per Guinnes Book of World Rekords the Smeura is bearing the mournful title of being the biggest animal shelter of the world. Around 5400 dogs and 600 puppies need around 2.7 tonnes food per day. The staff members are doing an inconceivable job - organizationally, physically and emotionally. Driving around with a castration van and pushing the clearing up of the locals. Every euro is needed. Help for Strays e.V. is a Germany-based non profit organisation which supports the private animal shelter "Riska" in Belgrade, Serbia. It is home to approx. 250 dogs and 30 cats. Daniela Knezevic and Nadine Bartel lead the Kitten Safe House. They usually take on injured street cats, kitten thrown into the trash or abandoned cats. Try to look after them well and give them in good hands. They also look after feeding sites and catches the cats for castration. There are at least 60 cats in her house, all of whom need food, medicines, cat litter and medical care. This all costs money, you can help us to support Daniela and her crew!

Ziel ist es, das öffentliche Tierheim zu übernehmen, den Hunden ein gerechtes Leben zu ermöglichen, sie medizinisch zu versorgen und ein neues Heim für sie zu finden. Wir sind ein kleiner Verein, der 2018 gegründet wurde. Uns liegen Esel und Pferde am Herzen, die in Rumänien unter katastrophalen Bedingungen leben müssen oder geschlachtet werden sollen, weil sie keinen Nutzen mehr für die Besitzer haben. Aktuell haben wir vier Esel, ein Muli, ein Pony und 3 Pferde bei uns. Einige Tiere haben Paten, aber leider noch nicht alle. Das gesammelte Geld wird für den monatlichen Unterhalt, Tierarztkosten, Hufschmied und Futter verwendet. Danke für die Unterstützung!

Wir finden die Tiere unter unzureichnden Bedingungen vor. Sie erhalten eine Erstversorgung mit Futter. Kranke oder verletzte Tiere lassen wir ärztlich untersuchen. Um das Leid nicht zu vergößern, lassen wir die die Strassenhunde kastrieren. Wir gehen auf die Tierhalter zu und versuchen die Haltungsumstände zu verbessern. In primitivsten Behausungen sind die Tiere den Wetterverhältnissen ausgesetzt. Wir sorgen für eine erträgliche Unterkunft.

Wir sind kein Verein sondern eine private Station ,die beim Veterinäramt Meschede gemeldet und genehmigt ist. Meine Station wird nicht staatlich unterstützt ,trage sämtliche Kosten selber mit meinem privaten Geld und gelegentlichen Spenden .
