SOS Podenco Rescue saves podencos from the streets and from killing stations, gives them vet treatment, and finds them a forever home. Our only purpose is to fight for this wonderful breed that is ignored and not wanted in Spain, as they are only considered huntils tools, not pets. Latidos Podencos es una Asociacion sin animo de lucro. Dedicados a al rescate de podencos y otros animales abandonados y maltratados. Nuestra labor esta en la calle, las perreras. Una de las razones fundamentales por las que necesitamos tu ayuda es porque todos nuestros perros rescatados estan en Residencias o Guarderias. No tenemos instalaciones. Cada rescate supone un coste mensual de Residencia o Guarderia, ademas del gasto veterinario que lleva cada perro.

About 2008 I started to collect abandoned dogs, in 2012 we formed an Association called PODENCOS SOS after 14 years we dissolved the association due to lack of means to deal with so many animals. From now on I decide to continue this work in a particular way, with a smaller group of animals and thus give them better attention. We have never received state aid, maintenance and the cost of veterinary care continues to depend on donations, therefore we need you!

Podencos y Más wants to introduce this magnificent breed so abused, abused and ignored because of hunting. We are ESPECIALLY dedicated to the physical and mental rehabilitation of the animal and the search for responsible and appropriate adoptions for them. A podenco rescue founded in memory of Valentine a brave little podenca who was tragically killed in March 2015.

A rescue and rehoming sanctuary for abused, neglected and abandoned Galgos and Podencas in Malaga, Spain. Entirely voluntary funded, this charity has saved the lives of many Galgos left to die on the streets. All our dogs are vaccinated, neutered, and rehabilitated before we place them in forever homes. This group is to raise money for ongoing running costs and vets fees for special cases like Ebro.

For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations.
