Es besteht darin, obdachlose Großmütter zu "retten" und nach einer Familie zu suchen, mit der sie in ihren letzten Lebensjahren glücklich sein können. Esperanza Fuerte ist eine Gruppe von Tierschützern, die seit vielen Jahren die Liebe zur Insel Fuerteventura und ihrer Hunde verbindet. Auf unserer ehrenamtlich geführten Finca beherbergen wir bis zu 30 hilfsbedürftige, zumeist ältere und kranke Hunde, oft mit tief sitzenden Traumata, denen wir ein sicheres Zuhause bieten. Unser Fokus liegt auf Kastrationsprojekten, Betreuung, Versorgung und Pflege hilfsbedürftiger Tiere, Verbesserung der Haltungsbedingungen, Aufklärung und Sensibilisierung.
